Casper de Groot - Program Director

Casper de Groot brings more than 25 years of international experience in driving transformation and operational excellence. Over the course of his career in the financial services sector, he has held senior leadership roles across Audit, Risk Management, IT Infrastructure, IT Applications, Cybersecurity, and Operations, consistently guiding organisations through complex change.

Casper has designed and implemented enterprise-wide risk and control frameworks within banking environments, including at both a standalone bank and the IT division of a major international institution. He played a pivotal role in launching two fully operational internet banks in Oceania and has led numerous large-scale system replacement and innovation initiatives. Known for his ability to bridge strategy and execution, he has successfully led cross-functional teams through significant organisational transformation, combining deep technical expertise with strong, people-centred leadership.

His international assignments across Oceania, Europe, and Africa have given him a nuanced understanding of diverse cultures and operating environments, reinforcing a collaborative and inclusive approach to change and transformation.

Casper holds a Master of Science in Business Mathematics & Informatics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, along with professional certifications in Audit, Project Management, IT Management, and IT Security. Most recently, he completed a Higher Diploma at University College Cork, specialising in Personal and Organisational Development, Leadership and Management, Strategic Management, Customer Relationship Management, Talent Management, and Managing Change and Transformation, further strengthening his capability to lead complex modern transformation programs.

As Program Director for Change and Transformation at ARevolution, Casper combines technical depth, strategic leadership, and intercultural experience to support clients through AI and Cybersecurity transformation initiatives. He is passionate about enabling organisations to innovate responsibly, securely, and sustainably in an ever-evolving business landscape.
